About this course:
 
The first year of the course is a foundation year that will teach the study skills and grounding in basic science needed to undertake a medicial degree; students will also be introduced to the application of basic and social sciences in healthcare. After successfully completing the foundation year to the appropriate standard, students will progress to the UEA MB/BS course (UCAS Code A100).

Students must meet Social Contextual Criteria to be eligible for screening and selection for interview (see below).

Course Duration: 6 years - 1 year foundation, 5 years medicine

Entrance requirements:
   
A levels: ABB to BCC: Candidates need to be predicted or have achieved BCC at A Level. You do not need specific subjects to enter this course - science and non-science subjects are acceptable.
GCSEs: Five GCSE at grade C or above to include Maths and Science at grade B
Resit policy: Resits are accepted for this course.
Entrance Exam: UKCAT. The cut off score is not known.

Fees for UK and EU students: £3,225 per year for medicine, but £1,285 for first year
Fees for international students (non-EU): NA - this course does not accept students from outside the EU
