One thing we have noticed whilst redeveloping this site and talking with students, lecturers and service providers is a lack of online book stores aimed solely at benefitting students and medical practitioners. This is often an arduous task of browsing various multi discipline websites and picking from an endless list.
We are currently working on a website to fill such a void.
Using an affiliation with Amazon UK, Medschools Online will shortly be launching a standalone website including books relating to all medical categories. We are also contacting universities and trawling websites to amalgamate the relevant reading lists advised by medical training facilities.
We hope to provide a valuable service to students and graduates where they will be able to shop for the materials, create a complete shopping cart, and process their orders via the well respected Amazon interface.
This is proving quite a labour intensive process but we are nearing completion of the design phase. The catalogues have been compiled and awaiting addition to the site.
This could be a very interesting development in the service provided by Medschools Online and one which has not been tried before by ourselves. As with anything MSO related, we are doing this for the benefit of our readers and would appreciate any feedback from you when its live and functional.
