I think I might have to take at least three of these this summer!! I was wondering if anyone knows any good prep (books, courses etc) for GAMSAT. I know they say you cannot prep for UKCAT and MSAT but is that true or is there stuff out there. Thanks guys.

Hi,

I did GAMSAT and MSAT in 2003/4 and i definitely think you can do some preparation!

For GAMSAT, you can order test papers - have a look at:

http://www.ucasbooks.co.uk/acatalog/GAMSAT_Preparation_Material.html

Sample questions for MSAT can be found at:

http://www.msat-uk.org/images/sample/MSATSampleQns06.pdf

If you want more general info on GAMSAT and MSAT (they're both run by the same organisation), have a look at:

http://www.msat-uk.org/

and

http://www.gamsatuk.org/

I know GradMed run expensive private courses, but i'm not sure how effective they are:

http://www.gradmed.co.uk/

I'm not so sure about UKCAT - their official line is that you cannot prepare for it - have a look at:

http://www.ukcat.ac.uk/

or have a look at the Medschools Online UKCAT page:

http://www.medschoolsonline.co.uk/index.php?pageid=126

Hope that helps!
