Welcome to the new MSO forum.

We've added the forum to the site to let people discuss the applications process and life at medical school.

There are already two very good forums for medical students and applicants:
www.admissionsforum.co.uk www.medschoolguide.co.uk/forum

However, we didn't thiink our site would be complete without our own forum.

We would also like to use the forum to get your opinions on the site and your ideas on how to improve it.

If you'd like to join the forum, just register for free using the button on the top right. You just need to choose a username and password.

Enjoy...

Any help on applying?

Dont you think the registering is too easy?

I mean no email confirmation is required, so theres nothing stopping people writing down any old email adress?

Just a thought, but yeah good site!

Hiya,
Yes it might be a bit too easy to register at the moment. Basically we wanted to make it as easy as possible to register - I'm always a bit distrustful of any website that wants to know all my details just so that I can register. We don't need people's details for any reason other than to contact them ourselves (which we plan to do very rarely). But I think it might be a good idea to check people's email addresses.

I'll ask the boss (jeremy) and see what he thinks.

Thanks for your suggestions!

No prob.

Yes, even if it just asks for an email for email confirmation purposes, that'll still be good.

Anyway, great place - looking forward to see it grow!
