Chemistry:

Chemistry is not required at A level or AS.

Biology:

Biology is required at full A2 level

Other subjects:

Most other subjects are accepted as a third A2, the only requirement is that you do biology A level and 4 AS subjects.

General studies:

Not acceptable

Resit policy:

Given the individual's circumstances we will consider re-sits. Candidates would normally be expected to achieve A grades in all resit subjects.

GCSE requirements:

6 GCSE Normally at grade A or above to include English, Maths and a Science subject.

Scottish Highers:

AAAAB, one of which MUST be Biology - or Advanced Highers: AAB, one of which MUST be Biology, plus minimum grade B in a fourth Standard Highers subject.

International Baccalaureate:

33/34 points to include a minimum of 6 in Higher Level Biology plus 6 pts in two other Higher Level subjects.

Irish Leaving certificate:

AAAABB grades in higher subjects - one of which MUST be Biology
