Passes should all be obtained in S5, one year after Standard grade examinations, at the first attempt and at one sitting. Applications supported by AAAAC grades from S5 may be considered in exceptional cases, provided C is not in Chemistry.
Applicants who take only four subjects at Higher in S5 will be considered, if there are special circumstances, such as the policy of the school, ill health etc. The reasons for taking only four Highers will have to confirmed by the school in the academic reference. AAAA grades would be required in these examinations and in S6, AA grades in two more Highers or a combination of a grade A in a new Higher and a grade B at Advanced Higher.
Applicants who take one Higher in S4 require at least AAABB by the end of S5, including an A pass obtained in S4. | International Baccalaureate: | 37 points in total, including 666 at Higher level including Chemistry and one other science. 666 required at S level.
